Rafael Nadal will face American Michael Russell in the first round of Wimbledon 2011
Reigning champion Rafael Nadal has been drawn against Michael Russell in the first round at Wimbledon.
Nadal, 2/1 with bet365 to win the tournament, will play the American on the Centre Court on Monday.
The Spaniard is seeded to play Andy Murray, 5/1 to win this year's Wimbledon, in the semi-finals. Before that, the world number one is scheduled to meet Tomas Berdych in the last eight, in what would be a repeat of the 2010 final.
Murray, who was beaten in straight sets by Nadal in the semi-finals of last year's tournament and in the last four of the recent French Open, will open up with a match against Daniel Gimeno Traver. The Scot is seeded for a quarter final clash with Andy Roddick, who beat the Brit in 2009. Murray will, however, be confident, having won against the American at Queen's Club last week.
