Fifth seed Juan Martin Del Potro begins his assault on the Wimbledon title against veteran Arnaud Clement on June 23 (13:00) and you can watch the action live at Bet 365.
Del Potro, 20, has blasted his way up through the World Rankings since he turned professional only four year’s ago. The Argentine currently has five ATP titles to his name, and he has made giant strides in Grand Slam events, including recently when he reached the semi final of the French Open.
He has however, failed to progress beyond the second round at SW19 since he turned pro, and although his overall game has moved to another level this year, many feel that grass is his weakest surface. With that in mind, he may find 31-year old Frenchman Arnaud Clement tricky to overcome. Clement regained some of his best career form twelve months ago when he reached the Quarter finals of Wimbledon, and he is an experienced match player, who is useful despite his lack of pace and agility.
Del Potro’s odds of 1/16 with Bet 365 are not exactly worthwile - although he probably will beat Clement it will not be a straightforward task.
