Anastastia Pavlyuchenkova begins her 2011 Wimbledon campaign with a tricky match against Ukrainian Lesya Tsurenko
Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova was a surprise quarter finalist at the French Open but the young Russian was deserving of her place, having beaten world number two Vera Zvonareva in order to reach the last eight. She fell to an inspired comeback from Francesca Schiavone but it surely won't be long before the world number 14 is reaching semi finals and finals of Grand Slam tournaments.
She begins her Wimbledon 2011 campaign against Leya Tsurenko this afternoon and is a massive 1/14 favourite, at
bet365, to beat the young Ukrainian. Tsurenko, who is a 10/1 outsider is a player with plenty of potential but her world ranking of 141 suggests that she is far from the finished article. The 22-year-old has done well to come through her three qualifiers at SW19 but this match looks a bridge too far for her and it should be a straight sets win for Pavlyuchenkova. This can be backed at 1/4.
