Djokovic on the Drift

Wimbledon Live Staff - 10 Jun 2009

Novak Djokovic is on the drift in the market for the Wimbledon Mens Singles Championship.

The young Serb, like Brit hopeful Andy Murray, has been on the brink of Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for some time, however one vital feature, which does set him apart from Murray, is his Australian Open success in 2008.

Djokovic’s best performance at SW19 was back in 2007 when he reached the Semi Finals, and the talented and athletic right-hander will be fancied for at least a repeat performance of that feat this year, particularly with the speculation circulating that defending champion Rafael Nadal may not even take part due to injury.

Novak Djokovic is now 8/1 with Sportingbet to claim his second Grand Slam success at the All England Club this year.
