Ana Ivanovic is upbeat ahead of Wimbledon and insists that she can make a return to the sort of form which has seen her win the French Open in the past.
Ivanovic has fallen rapidly down the World Rankings in recent times, a former World No.1, she is now World No.13 after a string of disappointing results and performances, and is well out of favour in the markets for SW19 this year. A former Wimbledon semi-finalist two year’s ago, Ivanovic was dumped out of the tournament in the third round last year, and has failed to progress beyond the third round in any other Grand Slam to date.
Despite the dismal run however, Ivanovic is confident that she can turn things round, and cause a shock at the All England Club:
"I have the quality. I've won a Grand Slam in the past and I can still improve my game and gain more experience," said Ivanovic. "I think I am a good way back and it can happen. I really believe I have the game to do it - I just have to put it all together and be mentally strong and in the moment.
