The Williams sisters are still dominating the market for the 2009 Ladies Singles Championship at Wimbledon.

Both Venus and Serena have a combined seven Wimbledon successes, with five of those being won by the former. It is the younger of the two, Serena however who is currently a slight favourite. Bet 365 make her 5/2 to avenge last year’s final defeat against Venus, who is an 11/4 chance.

The pair are strongly fancied to make the final once again in 2009, and face-off once more in a Grand Slam Final. The rest of the market suggests this, with third favourite Maria Sharapova as big as 8/1 with Betfred, whilst recent French Open victor Svetlana Kuznetsova, is a top priced 16/1 with Ladbrokes to score a quickfire Grand Slam double.
