Wimbledon 2009 Draw: Men's Singles Highlights

Wimbledon Live Staff - 19 Jun 2009

Injury stricken Rafael Nadal could face Lleyton Hewitt in round two at Wimbledon should he participate.

The reigning Wimbledon Champion will soon make a decision as to whether he will defend his title following his knee injury. Ironically enough, the man who he has this week lost to in an exhibition match, Lleyton Hewitt, should await Nadal in round two if he takes part, and wins his tie against veteran Arnaud Clement.

Nadal's injury problems, and questions over his involvment in this year's tournament have made Roger Feder a heavy favourite (17/16 Betfair) and he gets his campaign underway against Yen-Hsun Lu, the man who knocked Andy Murray out of the Beijing Olympics.

Murray himself has been handed a favourable draw, he meets American World No.76 Robert Kendrick in round one, and he will avoid Roger Federer until the final, should he get there. Murray has also managed to avoid potential dangers Tommy Haas and Jo Wilifired Tsonga, although the power serving Andy Roddick could await him in the latter stages.
