Wimbledon 2011 odds – Andy Murray Beats Gasquet, Priced slashed to 4/1

Wimbledon Live Staff - 27 Jun 2011
Andy Murray has reached the quarter finals of Wimbledon 2011 and the Brit is now as short as 4/1 to win Wimbledon.

Watch and bet on Rafael Nadal vs Juan Martin Del Potro at bet365>live tennis, a match scheduled for Monday evening.

Richard Gasquet was supposed to test Andy Murray in the fourth round of Wimbledon 2011 however their match on Monday ended up being fairly routine. The first set was close but the match ended with Murray winning 7-6, 6-3, 6-2.

The win over Gasquet means that the Brit has reached the last eight with plenty of recovery time to spare with a quarter final match against Kubot or Lopez now beckoning (Kubot has a 2 sets to love lead at time of writing).

Paddy Power were suitably impressed with Murray’s performance, cutting the Brit’s price to 4/1 although Betfred are standing firm with their 6/1 quote ahead of Rafael Nadal’s match against Juan Martin Del Potro.

Roger Federer is the 19/10 favourite (Boylesports) to claim his seventh Wimbledon title and seventeenth Grand Slam title overall.
