Victoria Azarenka was the last player to book her spot in the semifinals in the women's draw at Wimbledon 2011.

Victoria Azarenka, the top ranked player remaining in the draw at Wimbledon 2011, is the sole survivor of her quarter at the All England Club as the fourth seed is into the Wimbledon semifinals following an impressive victory over Tamira Paszek.

The semifinal appearance marks the first time that the Belarussian has made a semifinal not just at Wimbledon but at any Grand Slam. The score in Tuesday's match against Paszek ended at 6-3, 6-1.

Azarenka's next match should prove to be much tougher as Petra Kvitova is up in the semis in what looks to be a blockbuster semifinal between two players.

Kvitova herself was a winner on Tuesday in what turned out to be a three set match against Tsvetana Pironkova.

Kvitova and Azarenka are 2-2 against one another with the Czech player winning the last two matches between the two players. They met last season at Wimbledon with Kvitova taking down that match in the tournament's third round in straight sets.
